The committee meet about four times a year, but keep in touch in between. If you would like to suggest anything - just click here to send an email to Gilly Brugge, the Secretary, or contact any committee member direct. If you would like a chat, send your phone number and someone will call you back. We'd love to hear what members want - demos, clinics, events, talks.. let us know. If you feel you'd like to run an event, we would be delighted to hear from you - and will give help and support. Bear in mind that the club insurance gives very good protection against liability for organisers of any club events. One third of committee members stand down each year (volunteers or the longest-serving members), but can be nominated for re-election in the same way as any other club member. To join the committee, a member just needs to be nominated and seconded by two other members. Click here to download the nomination form (PDF). Closing date for nominations to reach the Secretary: 23/9/09. There are usually about 4 meeting a year to decide on events, investments, etc. If there are too many willing workers on offer there will be a postal ballot before the AGM.
