Shipton Riding Club operates in West Dorset, with members from the area between Axminster, Yeovil, Dorchester and the sea. As a club we aim to help and encourage each other; run events, demos, clinics and hacks; send teams to BRC area/national competitions; and have fun! Members include everybody from happy hackers to high-level competitors in all disciplines. Certain events and clinics are members-only and are run as cost-effectively as possible. Members get preferential rates at all our open events. We have yearly fixtures such as Unaffiliated Show Jumping at Moreton and BHS Trec at Loscombe Livery, Shipton Riding Club Horse Show at Bricky, monthly guided hacks, weekly flatwork and jumping tuition plus specialist clinics with well-known trainers. Check the calendar. Membership is £20 per year for adults or juniors (aged 8 to 17), but 2nd members from the same household pay £16, 3rd and 4th etc £15 so long as all pay at the same time.
